GordonB Posted September 25, 2019 My main Windows drive has been infected by ransomeware. It has added the file extension, .id[86499220-2275].[recovermyfiles2019@thesecure.biz].Adame, or similar, to all files in my documents, pictures etc. From a little research it appears to be a variant of Phobos ransomware, most sites say it's impossible to decrypt infected files, but one site recommends Data Recovery Pro, which is not free software, I don't mind paying for it if it works. So, I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience of that software or has had any sucess in decrypting the affected files.
