lascetic Posted October 24, 2017 Hi, SAS detected today systweakasp_c.exe as a PUP. This software has been lying in my PC for quite some time and has never been detected before. Also it is a software that has not been developed since 2015, so I don't think it is a threat. The file is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\CPUID\PC Wizard 2015 Checked virustotal and has 9 out of 64 detections. Could you please look into it and let me know if I should remove it? File is big to upload here, but let me know if you have another way, I may send it to you, if it is not dodgy.
SAS Malware Research Posted October 24, 2017 Hello lascetic, After some investigation I've determined that PC Wizard should not be detected. I have adjusted the definition database and these files should no longer be detected as of database version 14068, which will be released shortly. Update to 14068 and scan again (a restart of SAS may be required). Please let me know if this file is still being detected, or if you have any other questions or concerns.
