alicez Posted October 25, 2016 #1- Will SAS 6.0.1228 work on my Win 10 notebook? #2- Also, does SAS do the same thing as CCleaner? I have found that if I don't use CCleaner and use SAS, SAS will pick-up some exceptions. If I use CCleaner first and clean the exceptions found, and then use SAS, SAS will not pick-up any exceptions. Thankyou.,
SUPERsupport Posted October 25, 2016 Hello Alicez, 1) SUPERAntiSpyware does work on Windows 10, so yes, it will work on your notebook. 2) CCleaner is a temporary file remover and a registry cleaner while SUPERAntiSpyware is an anti-malware anti-spyware system scanner and preventative application. They do not do the same thing. The only thing they overlap on is the CCleaner removes cookies along with temporary internet files in general, while SUPERAntiSpyware specifically targets Internet Tracking Cookies among other things. I hope this helps.
GuiltySpark Posted October 25, 2016 Hi alicez Yes SAS works on Win 10. In terms of cookie cleaning I would use both as CCleaner is built more for that type of thing and may look further in the system. As to which is better / necessary you may wish to run your own test on this to see what if any remnants are left behind. SUPERsupport beat me to it lol
alicez Posted October 26, 2016 Thank you. Just wanted to say I did not receive an email alert that responses were made. Was I supposed to receive an email alert?

alicez Posted October 26, 2016 Thank you. I installed the SAS on my Win 10 notebook. Is there someplace I can look on this SAS to see that it installed the Win10 version?
GuiltySpark Posted October 26, 2016 All versions are the same. I goes by build rather than individual looks, the download auto configures the appropriate installer.
