djloekee27 Posted September 14, 2015 I have paid for and installed Avid Media Composer and Avid Pro Tools, very expensive professional software; and SuperAntiSpyware is listing Avid files as trojans. Deleting these files would render my software inoperable and the install process is very long for Avid files with over 18gb's of software to install. http://www.avid.com/US/products/Media-Composer http://www.avid.com/US/products/pro-tools-software https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/3f1462325f733319e44c506a3082d0c45e773d5edfd094d4073a41efe85cc88e/analysis/
SAS Malware Research Posted September 14, 2015 Hello djloekee27, I believe I have tracked down the cause of this false detection. I have adjusted the database, and these files should no longer be detected as of database version 12062. Update to version 12062 and scan again (a restart of SAS may be required). Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you have any other questions or concerns. SUPERAntiSpyware Malware Research
