Windows 2000 PC won't boot after running SUPERAntiSpyware

Hi there.

I just ran SUPERAntiSpyware and my buddy's PC and now it won't boot  . Once the scan was finished it asked me to reboot. Now it gets to the logon screen and once I enter the password it says "loading your settings" and then it says "saving your settings" and then it goes right back to the logon screen.

Safe mode won't help and neither will Last known good config. In Safe mode I see a window pop quickly that mentions something about svchost but i can't see much more than that.

A little help pls?

Hello 123.

I would try the following (Let me know if you need more detailed instructions):

1) At the logon screen, use Administrator as the user name and leave the password blank. Can you boot now?

2) Use a 2000 cd and run a chkdsk /r from the recovery console.

3) Use a 2000 cd to run a repair install.

Good luck.
