SUPERAntiSpyware Pro Won't Update In Windows 7 Pro

I have Win 7 dual booted with several Linux distros on a Toshiba Satellite C675 laptop. Recently I am unable to update SAS and get a recurring message that a file in C:\Windows\System32\Sendori.dll is bad or corrupted. None of my web browsers will connect although I show that it is connected to a wireless network. I tried booting into Safe Mode With Networking but no help there. Need assistance to figure this out before I drop Windows entirely.

Hi gdawg,

 

Sendori is a particular nasty piece of malware which latches itself into the system files causing adware and redirects/proxies etc, a real PITA to get rid of.

 

Firstly you will need to reset all browsers back to their original state.

 

Download adwcleaner run the Scan make sure everything you want to keep is Un-checked (leave at defualt if uncertain) then select Clean.

It will ask to restart the system, please allow this and post the subsequent text log created back here.

 

Download DDS run the program and attach both logs back here.

 

Download Farbar Scan and Recovery Tool x86version or x64version. Select Scan and post the log file back here.

Thank you for your response GuiltySpark. I am not able to download any thing in Win 7. All  my browsers (IE, Firefox, Chromium) can't locate the server. Some years ago I recall using SUPERAntiSpyware to scan using the command line. I have downloaded and copied to a CD SAS_708E59B but am not sure how to use it.

you can download from a linux partition to a usb and run them from there. you can even download the manual definitions from linux and save them to a usb stick.

I have installed the above to a flash drive and plugged in to windows. Tried to run them all and only dds.com gave any info. Still can't access the internet via windows so I am unable to attach to an email. Now SAS won't boot either. Tried booting in Safe Mode With Networking and without. Is it possible to run SAS from the command line? Thank you for your help.

I think the command line option was removed a long time ago (I could be wrong).

You could copy the DDs log to a usb and post from linux.

Can you bring up Task Manager? Does SAS show in there?

 

What happens if you run the SAS Alternate start?

Hi gdawg

 

Open Programs and Features/Add/Remove Programs and Remove Sendori from your computer.

Then Run CCleaner both the Cookie cleaner and the Registry cleaner.

Then open your browser and change the the Home page to https://www.google.com/ (you may be better off just resetting the browser)

 

Then restart your computer.

 

If that fails then you could always revert back to a VBox snapshot (you did take them right?)
