Recommended Posts

Hello, I just did a full scan with SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition and it detected C:\PROGRAM FILES\AVAST SOFTWARE\AVAST\NG\VBOX\VBOXDDGC.GC as Trojan.Agent/Gen-Packed? Here is the scan log:

I have Avast 2015 Free Antivirus. Is this a false positive? I uploaded the file to VirusTotal and it got a 4 / 54 detection ratio: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/da29c088d68d3fb9d805c7ae5cc2492d4065fb32e4850143815a7eb5fad8969d/analysis/1419356852/

I was going to use the 'built-in false positive reporter' but I was unable to find it since the new update... Maybe it was removed? Whether it was removed or moved, your website should be updated. Specifically this page: https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=28

Thank you

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We have disabled the offending definition.  This file should no longer be detected as of database version 11675, which will be published a little later today.

Thanks, but it confused me because it said "Send suspected malware to our researchers", it doesn't say anything about fale positives plus the website has outdated instructions for doing so.
