Veritor Posted October 23, 2014 I think you might have to speak with your fellow wizards over at MWB! I have two different computers on two different physical networks, both have MWB and SAS and MWB has quarantined SuperAntispyware.exe, reporting it as containing Trojan.Agent.ED. Both instances occurred 15 mins apart around 5pm EST today. Sounds to me like MWB erroneously reading an updated SAS definition file as a virus?? I have posted on MWB forums as well but right now I can't run SAS without removing the exe from quarantine and I'd like to be sure I should do that! Thanks for your help. moo4x Posted October 23, 2014 Same problem here. I also had to shut down the service for SAS as it had one of my 4 core's maxed out (probably because MBAM was blocking parts of the program).

SAS Malware Research Posted October 23, 2014 Hey all, I've verified that MalwareBytes is indeed detecting SuperAntiSpyware.exe as a Trojan: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/3f4f97fe5dad758e58262c431498beb136aa85929f2bea9f47c56d805e1cc45f/analysis/1414106198/ The good news is that it looks as if they are is already aware of the false detection and according to them it should be fixed in the next update: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/159450-mwb-quarantining-superantispywareexe-for-trojanagented/ Anyone who has quarantined SuperAntiSpyware.exe may have to reinstall after MalwareBytes has fixed the false detection. moo4x Posted October 24, 2014 Fixed. So far it doesn't appear that a reinstall is needed, but I'll see for sure when I reboot & either get a blue screen or don't!
