mrstan Posted September 18, 2014 When I loaded SAS on my computer, I found that is installed Adware.Amonetize/Variant adware with it. I thought at first this was something my computer caused while hte install was happening. After installing on several computers though, it seems this is coming from SAS itself being pulled down from the SAS install server. Can you guys look into this and see if there is an infection in the software up there? Thanks! STan skaggs
SAS Customer Service Posted September 18, 2014 Mrstan, Did you download the installer directly from superantispyware.com? You can download our software installer here:http://cdn.superantispyware.com/SASPRO/SUPERAntiSpywarePro.exe
SAS_Dave Posted September 18, 2014 I'm curious to know which file(s) are triggering that detection and which security product is detecting it. If you are indeed using the download direct from our site, it is most definitely a false positive; we do not include adware with SUPERAntiSpyware.
