mmarrocco Posted August 20, 2014 I've been using SAS for years. Thank you for a great product (Free Edition). After I ran update today I can no longer open SAS. An error appears: Unable to locate DLL The Dynamic Link Library UxTheme.dll could not be found... I tried reinstalling SAS, but still get the same error. I am running Windows 2000 (and cannot upgrade due to other legacy software). Can someone help me get SAS running again? Matt
SAS_Dave Posted August 20, 2014 Hi Matt, This is an unavoidable situation I'm afraid. We weren't able to prevent the updater from distributing 6.0 out to Win2K installs, and unfortunately, we've had to drop support for that OS. There is a plan in place to host a download for version 5.7 that will not try to update, stay tuned for that. Version 5.7 will continue to operate correctly and receive database updates on Win2K. danmeek Posted August 22, 2014 Please tell me where to get the 5.7 non-program updating version. How do I stop my installed 5.7 from automatically updating to 6.0, while continuing to update the definitions?
