Does SAS totally replace defender or mse?

SAS is not a replacement for an antivirus. If you are for the two best antivirus. They are AVG and Avast Free. I use AVG for my desktop and Avast for my laptop and both of them has got MalwareBytes Antimalware Free and SAS Free.

Seems like this thread is becoming biased towards free stuff.

 

Some things in life are worth paying for, in my case SAS Pro and ESET Nod32.

that's what I have! you get what you pay for

 

NOD32 is one of the best AVs out there with no quirks and no false positives
