microsoftSUCKS Posted June 21, 2014 Is either defender or microsoft security essentials worth keeping around?
GuiltySpark Posted June 21, 2014 SAS is not a replacement for AV although MSE is a bog standard AV solution that was very good, now however not so much.
Guest Posted June 23, 2014 SAS is not a replacement for an antivirus. If you are for the two best antivirus. They are AVG and Avast Free. I use AVG for my desktop and Avast for my laptop and both of them has got MalwareBytes Antimalware Free and SAS Free.
Spartan Posted June 30, 2014 MSE/Windows Defender is NOT an antivirus. it lost certification on AV comparatives and just take a look at how horrible it does on the AV TEST
DooGie Posted June 30, 2014 Seems like this thread is becoming biased towards free stuff. Some things in life are worth paying for, in my case SAS Pro and ESET Nod32.

Some things in life are worth paying for, in my case SAS Pro and ESET Nod32. that's what I have! you get what you pay for NOD32 is one of the best AVs out there with no quirks and no false positives
