osorezan Posted March 21, 2014 Hey everybody, I'm new to the forums. I just recently got a new laptop, three days later, after some happenings on my desktop I was using it to change passwords and update all my information, and just to be safe scanned it with sas. I detected the following threat: Trojan.Agent/Gen-Bifrose ZIP ARCHIVE( C:\USERS\PEDRO\APPDATA\LOCAL\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\INETCACHE\IE\8CCJMPA6\FUNCTIONAL_IMPROVEMENT[1].ZIP )/FUNCTIONAL_IMPROVEMENT.EXE C:\USERS\PEDRO\APPDATA\LOCAL\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\INETCACHE\IE\8CCJMPA6\FUNCTIONAL_IMPROVEMENT[1].ZIP Only reason why I think it might be a fake positive is how new this pc is, could somebody help me out? Any help apriciated, Thanks.
SAS Customer Service Posted March 21, 2014 Osorezan, When the file is detected by SUPERAntiSpyware, please select submit for False Positive Analysis, and we can investigate. Also, if you'd be willing to run the file through www.virustotal.com and send us the analysis results link, that would be very helpful. Open a ticket and we'll help you get this sorted out, make mention of your forum post in the ticket: https://www.superantispyware.com/precreateticket.html Thanks.
