mlk43611 Posted December 30, 2013 Hello, I've been using SuperAntiSpyware weekly on Windows 7 Home Premium for a few years now. I have SAS set to update automatically. Recently, SAS consistently show 5 virus files on every scan: Browser Hijacker Deskbar and System Broken File Association - HKCR\exe. Although the files are quarantined, they re-appear with the next boot-up. Yet, Windows File Explorer (hidden files can be viewed), Windows Start/Search, McAfee Anti-virus, and Autostart Program Viewer fail to find these files even when booting up in Safe Mode. Are these files malware and, if so, how can I remove them? If they are false positives, is it safe to go ahead and delete them via SAS's "manage quarantined" option? A screenshot is attached.Thanks. spyware.pdf
