jrec70 Posted September 10, 2013 When the scan finds 112 spyware items and I remove them it says they were removed. Then if I immediately scan again the same 112 items are found. This happens without doing anything else with my computer . Even if I reboot they are still there.
GuiltySpark Posted September 10, 2013 Hi jrec70, What are the threats?
jrec70 Posted September 10, 2013 It appears to be adware for example google ads services.com, ads.undertune.com, www.nextag.com, etc. I know they are harmless but are probably bogging my computer down since there are so many. Just can't understand why Superantispyware says it removed them and it finds them again if I scan again right away.
GuiltySpark Posted September 10, 2013 Download and run adwcleaner : http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ Remove all it finds. Some browser based PUPs aren't removed/picked up by anti malware programs because of the way they embed themselves.
