Boardwalk Posted August 20, 2013 I'm running the free edition. Last update was 8/18/13. I have program version 5.6.1032 and Data Base version 10697. I get my updates manually. Today ( 08/20/13), on manual update I get the following - "Downloading Updates (mirror 1)" Is this safe to download? Has my SUPERAntiSpyware been compromised? GuiltySpark Posted August 20, 2013 Hi Boardwalk, Yes it is safe to download. Mirror 1 simply means the nearest server to you.
SAS Customer Service Posted August 20, 2013 Mirrors are just copies of download locations. They allow us to distribute the load of our users downloads, so one server does not become overburdened. This is safe and normal.

supersafescan777 Posted September 25, 2013 I wanted to open my installed SAS this morning to begin scanning but it would not open after clicking on the SAS icon. Did my installed free version expired? What should I do? Please help. Thank you, Jess.
Ray37212 Posted September 25, 2013 Same problem here after yesterdays update from mirror 1 and then red boxes during decompress and install. Task manager showed SAS process taking 100% of CPU. Working good after todays update. Will SAS Customer Service please comment?
