best practice for dual/triple boot system

Recommended Posts

I've got two installs of XP, and a Vista install on the same PC.

Each OS can see each others hard drive partitions.

At the moment I only have SAS installed in Vista.  Is there any value in scanning the XP

partitions from the SAS installed in Vista?  It seems like it wouldn't work optimally

because the registry pertaining to the scanned OS is not being accessed (or is it?) .

So am I right in assuming that for it to work properly, SAS should be installed in each OS

and only used to scan it's own system (quick, critical points, etc, etc).
