Please help me

Recommended Posts

Hi debbiejuvenile,

If it is a False Positive then the updates will go through soon please keep checking for new definitions throughout the day (there is usually between 5 - 10 updates a day), alternatively, if you don't use Daemon Tools then you can fully uninstall the program as that is what is being flagged.

However, I would wait and see what the SAS team can make of it as you do tend to download from torrents which may (sometimes) contain malicious elements :)

To be sure please use the built in False Positive reporter as it can speed up the updating process.

Thanks. :)

Thanks for your speedy reply......this has been happening for months, I just took it for granted that SAS was removing it and I was picking it up by browsing.....ahem "naughty sites"...but it seems it is not removing it at all....How do I mark it as trusted could you point me in the direction of a tutorial.....thanks again for your help...xx

You may have to adjust things slightly as the product has changed somewhat but it will give you a rough idea : https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=87

Personally I would submit it using the built in FP so that SAS can work upon an update so not to detect it anymore.

If it is malware then best to know for definite and get shot of it before it eats away at your system.

GuiltySpark... I read that you wrote something about DAEMON Tools. Last month I had a major issue using DAEMON Tools. Prior installation of DAEMON Tools it asked me to install a toolbar. I unchecked it and installed DAEMON Tools... Out of the blue i get a message from Avast!7 (at that time) notifying me that it blocked a toolbar called Delta Toolbar. It comes from Babylon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babylon_%28software%29#Malware_issues. Basically what avast!7 did was even though i unchecked to not install the toolbar it blocked the website that can redirect me to install that toolbar. Some malware software i.e. ESET detect them as OpenCandy. I heard this Delta Toolbar is very dangerous.

I had all of these installed without my knowledge and I used ESET Online Scanner to get rid of that nasty stuff. Now i got avast!8 and i won't even think about installing DAEMON Tools.

I think this has something to do with this GuiltySpark! Debbiejuvenile did you try to use ESET Online Scanner http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ and MalwareBytes' Antimalware. What is the current state of your SuperAntiSpyware Professional? Is it detecting it again?
