jimlarkey Posted March 7, 2013 SAS scans @ 2:00 AM. How do I stop this scan? It's not listed in the WIN7 scheduler, and not in SAS scheduler. How do I stop this scan? Cheers!
GuiltySpark Posted March 7, 2013 Hi Jim, Under the Updates tab uncheck Scheduled Definition Updates. Failing that you could try selecting Reset Program Options.

SAS Customer Service Posted March 11, 2013 Any SUPERAntiSpyware Scheduled Scans will show when clicking the blue "Configure.." link next to Scheduled Scanning. SUPERAntiSpyware uses the Windows Task Scheduler to run scheduled scans, so any scheduled scans will have to appear in the Task Scheduler as well.
jimlarkey Posted March 12, 2013 Thanks...Yes, that's how SAS is suppose to work, but it's not. Still getting scans @2:00 AM. SAS scheduler shows no 2:00 AM scan. WIN7 scheduler shows no 2:00 AM scan Automatic Upates is not checked. But consistent 2:00 AM scan over past several days. Thoughts?

throkr Posted March 14, 2013 @jimlarkey : Just dropping in for an additional info : in the Windows Task Scheduler, did you also check "in" Task Scheduler Library (I mean clicking one time on this line) ? This is were I find all the scheduled tasks for SAS.
jimlarkey Posted March 14, 2013 OK, problem fixed...did a uninstall/install, as recommended by SAS tech support, after diagnostic scan. The scheduler must have been badly corrupted because I'm seeing a lot of options in the current that were not in the former. This morning was the 1st time I did a scan NOT @ 2:00 AM! Thanks for being there guys.
