Blog request.

Recommended Posts

I just tried posting a blog request, but I get: Sorry, but only administrators can reply to posts in this forum.

My request is for a thorough explanation between the quick and full scan. Such as:

1) What are the exact differences? I know the full scan scans the most likely places that malware will reside, but how likely is it for malware to be in other files?

2) When would you recommend the full scan over the quick scan?

3) Approximately what percentage more will a full find over a quick on an average infected computer. Come on Nick, I'm sure you have a ballpark figure :)

Personally, I don't recall the full scan finding any more malware than the quick scan.
