Question regarding cookies detected by SAS scan after using FF browser with NoScript?

Recommended Posts

Good morning everyone,

About 5 days ago, I began using this refurbished Dell Optiplex 755 computer with Win 7 Pro, 64-bit installed. As with my old Win XP Pro 32-bit machine, I use the Firefox browser with NoScript running most of the time. However, when I run a quick scan with SAS on this new computer, I notice that SAS is finding several cookies every time after being on-line using the Firefox browser. On my old WIN XP machine, when using the FF browser with NoScript enabled, SAS only occasionaly might find cookies.

This occurs with the same websites I visited when using my old Win XP computer.

Is there any particular reason for this different behavior?

Thank you for your time and any enlightenment!

Nothing wrong. Cookies are a fact of life. I stopped SAS from detecting cookies and use Ccleaner to clean them out. Less trouble.

As far as I know, noscript doesn't involve cookie blocking.
