CRUfADnicole Posted August 24, 2012 Every time I've run a scan on superantispywware for the last few months it comes up with the above critical threat 'System.BrokenFileAssociation HKCR\.exe'. I always click to remove it and it says it does, then it appears again in the next scan. I'm not really virus savvy, just wanting to know is this something I should be worried about or is this just a false positive? Thanks all for taking the time to help . . . I hope. SAS Customer Service Posted August 24, 2012 For the broken file association; please run the file association fix: https://www.superantispyware.com/downloads/SAS_FixEXEfile.com If you get the detection after running that, just select it and click the Allow/Trust button on the summary screen, it is a type of false positive.
