If "cacls" is blocked when using SAS will it cause conflicts?

Recommended Posts

Thank you for taking a look at my thread and helping me out :-)

I am currently using software that blocks many potential threats. I will be happy to name it here if that sort of thig is not frowned upon and if it will be usefull information regarding my issue.

Here is the issue, when begin a scan using SuperAntiSpyware my programs blocks something called cacls. SuperAntispyware seems to continue as normal but I would like to know if it is your softwae that requires whatever cacls is? If it is blocked by my software, will it negativly effect SuperAntiSpyware?

cacls.exe is a necessary part of the Windows OS and is safe it is needed for the ACL (access control list) for command switches.
