infosponge Posted June 22, 2007 Hello, I know it is necessary when turning off/on First Time Prevention you have to go through a complete boot cycle. When turning on/off Real Time Scanning is it also necessary to do this? The only reason I would perform this function would be to run a scan with an antivirus program and then re-enable immediately after performing that scan. Just want to be sure as I once saw a post by Nick where he said that First Chance Prevention has to go through a complete boot cycle in order for changes to go into effect. Thanks

Thanks When you disable the real-time from the right-click menu or the main interface, the real-time is immediately disabled.
