System Shuts Down When Running SAS Free Edition

My system shuts down and restarts when I run SAS Free. This usually occurs during the registry scan portion of the scan. Once upon a time, the program worked perfectly on this computer. Any ideas about what I can do to fix this?

AVG Antivirus.

I had the same problem awhile back. I had to start in safe mode several times and run SAS from there. The system was full of nasties. After a good cleaning SAS could be run from a normal login.
