csigona Posted October 23, 2011 Every time that SUPERAntiSpyware finds anything, even just a tracking cookie, it demands that the system be rebooted. This is nonsense since tracking cookies are found pretty much everywhere, which means that every scan would end up requiring a reboot. Either get rid of the reboot message or make certain to display it only when warranted.

Hello csigona! sorry you are annoyed at the requiring of rebooting even just for cookies, but the reason it requires a reboot is because when a files is in use, even if it's just a cookie, the system has to be rebooted so the file is no longer in use before it can be completely removed, one way I am sure you could prevent this is to have no programs that create cookies in use and running at the time of the scan, this should allow easy removal of the cookies!
