Doctor Watson Posted September 15, 2011 Hi. I think the following is a false positive : I am using the program Registry Cleaner (Sammsoft) to - what a surprise - keep my registry clean. When I run SAS, I get this result : Seems at least strange that a program designed to optimise my computer, would in itself endanger it. Does anyone know why SAS considers Registry Cleaner as potentially dangerous ?

Many "Potentially Unwanted" rules in our system were added by user request because the software in question can be "annoying" (too many popups/alerts) or difficult to remove. If you are happy with this particular software and don't find it disruptive, then simply select it in the list after a scan and click the "trust/allow" button. I just wanted to make sure.
