Does SAS require Inbound TCP Traffic for Protection?

Recommended Posts

The FAQ states:

For most firewalls, simply "trusting" the applications specified above should be sufficient. If not, verify that SUPERANTISPYWARE.EXE and SSUPDATE.EXE are granted incoming and outgoing TCP/IP traffic (on Port 80/443, HTTP/HTTPS).

Sorry to question what's already been stated but my firewall is currently setup to block all inbound traffic. Is incoming traffic required for protection? I don't need an explanation...I trust a simple "Yes" or "No" from SAS.

We pull all data, so you should not need in-bound - if you are having a problem, then do a full allow on SUPERAntiSpyware.
