Guest perry Posted August 22, 2011 I purchased SAS close to 3 years ago. Question There haven't been any new "threats" Saturday, Sunday & now 10 am eastern time Monday? Looking at the dates definitions were updated, there were none since Friday, also none on the 17th, 13th, 14th & July 31st. Here's a quote from your own product page.."Daily Definition Updates provide immediate detection of new threats" Found here https://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html I have the lastest "Definition Database Core : 7585 Trace : 5397" Maybe it's nothing, but I have to say, that seems to be a long time between definition updates. Considering how fast new threats appear.
bob_deloach Posted August 22, 2011 It's the 'Heuristic' abilities of SAS that makes it Soo Good!!! There will ALWAYS be a time lag between actual 'malwares' and the release of 'definitions'.

Thanks for the reply bob, it was what I thought was excessive "time lag", that had me a bit concerned. Good to know & again, appreciate your response.
