throkr Posted June 4, 2011 Hello, As I'm just discovering SAS Pro (5.0.1088) and its options, I would like to have a clarification about the following setting (just to be sure ) : Preferences > General and Start-up > "Check for updates before scanning on start-up". I suppose that leaving this option ticked (by default) means that SAS will search for updates at each start-up even if the start-up scanning option is set to "Do not scan when SAS starts". In other words : if I want that SAS starts as quickly as possible without searching for updates, I simply untick this option ? Thanks for your time !
