SUPERAntiSpyware: can't connect to internet

Recommended Posts

One of my computers was infected by qvx.exe, after running the free download SUPERAntiSpware pgm, the qvx.exe is gone. Thanks.

However the computer can no longer connect to internet.

This laptop is running Windows XP (SP3) and hooks up to a Linksys cable/DSL router (not wireless one). I don't think it is router

problem, because the other computers that connect to the router have no problems except this one.

This computer can ping:

- ping

- ping

- ping (the ip address of this computer)

- ping (the ip address of another computer that connects to the same router)

but the other computer ( can not ping this computer(

This computer ( can not ping any remote addresses:

- can't ping (request timed out)

- can't ping yahoo.com (ping request could not find host yahoo.com)

In addition, I ran sfc, still does not help. Please help.

Yes, I can connect to internet in safe mode with networking.

Then when I reboot the machine normally again. I still can not connect to internet (IE cannot display the webpage)

However, I can ping the remote ip address (i.e. and, but can not ping yahoo.com and cbc.com.
