crosseydlobster Posted April 3, 2011 I am trying to transfer my Superantispyware license so I can reformat and restore my hard drive. I recently contracted a virus that did some damage. However I keep getting an error code when I try to do the license transfer: "Unable to connect to the activation server. Please make sure that SUPERAntiSpyware.exe is allowed to connect through your firewall and try again." I have checked my firewall to make sure that Superantispyware is allowed through and it is. I even reset all of my firewall setting back to default. This is obviously a problem that persists because of my recent virus issue. Any suggestions on what I should do to get this transfer done properly?
Seth Posted April 4, 2011 Welcome to the SAS forum. Provided SAS is being re-installed on the same system, you don't need to transfer the license. Simply note your key, format, and use the key again when you install SAS.
SAS Customer Service Posted April 4, 2011 Welcome to the SAS forum. Provided SAS is being re-installed on the same system, you don't need to transfer the license. Simply note your key, format, and use the key again when you install SAS. You may also open a CSR so we can more intimately look at your licensing issues.
