Fer34 Posted March 20, 2011 Hi I use Superantispyware Free and for a time that I started to take increasingly more to start, this time takes about 10 minutes and also raises the CPU to 100%. The manual update of the database also takes too and increases the consumption of CPU and sometimes fails and gives me the opcíón to send a report. Manually with SASUNINST.EXE and reinstall the program and not be solved. Superantispyware Free 4.50.1002, Avast 6, Windows XP 32 bits. Sorry for my bad English, hope you can understand. Thank you. Are your other security products set to update on start-up and scan? If so that would increase your startup time.
Fer34 Posted March 21, 2011 Are your other security products set to update on start-up and scan? If so that would increase your startup time. Thanks for responding. I have only Avast 6 with resident protection and together a couple of years ago I use SUPERAntispyware Free Edition, was never presented this problem before. It seems to me that the inconvenient appeared after the update of program 4.49.1000. More galling than the time of initialization is high CPU consumption that freezes the pc and prevents any other task, also sometimes, not always, He often gives error during the update of signatures. Fer34 Posted March 22, 2011 What error are you receiving when updating? Only says "has been a problem during the upgrade and if I want to send a report". Happens sometimes, if I insist manages to update correctly.
