Internet Explorer 9

Recommended Posts

I installed IE9 over IE8.

SUPERAntispyware discovered that IE9 tried to change my homepage to "MSN". That's fine!

I told SAS to block this change.

IE9 started up with MSN anyway. Thinking this is a one-time-shot, I closed IE9 and restarted it, great, my homepage had not changed!

However...our p.c. is a multi-user p.c. If one of the other users start their IE9, all homepages have been changed to "MSN" without warning.

This is typical of the FIRST TIME that a new version of Internet Explorer is used. It will go to the MSN webpage the very first time you use it, regardless of your home page. Just close the webpage and you should be clear. It will occur on each account.
