amberdidi Posted March 12, 2011 Hi, I am running microsoft security essentials and I also have Superantispware (free) version on my pc. Since the free version of superantispyware has no realtime protection, is it compatable with MSE. Also when I run a scan with Superantispyware, should I disable Microsoft Security Essentials until the scan is completed. I ask this because if I am running a scan with superantispyware and MSE is also running in real time, wouldn`t they conflict because they are both scanning the same files, and since they would be both running when I do my spyware scan would they not take up considerable resources on my machine. Please advise me, your advise in this matter would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
siliconman01 Posted March 12, 2011 SAS Free or Professional will run okay along side MSE. You do not need to disable MSE when performing an SAS scan. There should be no conflicts.
