SAS startup and updates are slow and eat CPU (free version)

Recommended Posts

Basically what it says in the title.

Been doing this for a while now, and it shouldn't be related to my current AV as I've changed it once since the problem started.

Welcome to the SAS forum VicVegas.

Please be sure your using the latest version of SAS, which is 4.48.1000. If not, update to the latest version and see if that helps.

If it doesn't help, then uninstall SAS using the SAS uninstaller: https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=47'>https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=47

...then download the free version from https://www.superantispyware.com/

The version was old. I just went ahead and reinstalled it and it's working fine now. Thanks.
