Did this happen more than once?

No Nick, just the once.

It was straight after the main installation finshed, just before the setup procedure.

As I posted before, after I closed the error message box down I was able to proceed with the setup ok and SAS is running fine as I post this.

I ran a complete scan after installation and that went fine.

I suspect it could have been a slight delay between installation and the SAS Core Service starting up.
