Piedro Posted November 16, 2010 After a quickscan SAS detected two items. One could be trusted and the other Aware. Tracking cookie. Placed a V in the square in front of the one wich can be trusted and clicked on the button Trust/Allow. Now i have a green v in front of the Adware. Tracking cookie. What to do to uninstall this trust? Piedro
Piedro Posted November 16, 2010 For now i solved the problem by uninstall SAS and install it again. Is there a ingnorelist where i can change a trusted item? Piedro
Seth Posted November 16, 2010 Hi Piedro. When you go into "Allowed/Trusted Items", just click on the file and choose "Remove". SAS will then detect that item on the next scan.
SASMary Posted January 10, 2012 HI, new user - my first full scan detected 2 adware [ /2o7.net ] items. I misunderstood the process, and checked one of these (which put it into trusted). I followed the above suggestion - I removed it from the "Allowed/Trusted Items". I then ran another full scan - but this item was not then detected (as recommended/suggested above by Seth). How can I both detect, and remove this? (should I just go find it in the listed directory, and delete it?) Pls advise. Thanks.
SAS Customer Service Posted January 11, 2012 Try restarting SUPERAntiSpyware after allowing the item.If you run a scan again and it's not detected, it was most likely deleted. Either way, cookies will not harm your computer. You can read about them here: https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=
