SSupdate.exe

Recommended Posts

Hi

I purchased SAS pro today and am thus a new member.

This is not an SAS problem - but I thought it worthy of mention.

I use Kaspersky Internet Security 6 (latest version).

Every time I check for an update KIS6 reports that the SSUPDATE.exe file has changed and asks me to allow / deny usage.

As far as I know there is no way of blocking that message for one file only in KIS6.

As I said previously this is most likely a KIS6 issue - but nevertheless wonder if there is an alternative way to check for updates ? :?:

Is there a way to create a "rule" in KAV to allow the SSUPDATE.EXE? I know some of our users have done that.
