steelgate Posted September 26, 2010 Maybe this is just an annoyance I have. Currently SAS installs, run, and updates ONLY per the current user logged on. i.e., if you log on as pc\bud, install and update SAS. THen log off and log on as pc\buddette, buddette will have all different SAS settings, scanning settings, and no update that bud already downloaded. This is annoying when 4 ppl use the same pc with different user profiles. Is there a workaround I've overlooked?
Seth Posted September 26, 2010 Hi Steelgate. Apparently that feature is slated for a future release.

As far as scanning settings, those are really "user" based settings as each user may desire different settings. As far as definition updates, those will be for all users in version 5.0. ccwtech Posted April 2, 2011 As far as scanning settings, those are really "user" based settings as each user may desire different settings. As far as definition updates, those will be for all users in version 5.0. I'd also like the ability to install for ALL users and set settings for ALL users. It a PAIN to go in and do it manually. I see your point about allowing each user to do it individually, but most home users just want the to set it up once and let the thing "Just work" without a lot of intervention or hassle. As a PC Repair tech, and reseller of SuperAntiSpyware, I believe my users don't want to mess with the settings, as long as I have set it up for them and it protects them, that's all they want.
