Housecalls Posted July 25, 2010 Hadn't run Tweetdeck in a while and thought I'd catch up.... Got this from SAS Pro: Trojan.Agent/Gen-CDesc[Gen] C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\TWEETDECK\TWEETDECK.EXE Came up clean with Jotti http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/c6898b59bcc93349a63dc444f5ae984c6bba3246 Edit: Adding the VirusTotal report. The only scanner reporting this file as bad is SAS. http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/b8a19d35032b9c6af61d31dec800eab7a90ac8683263785b268801601279493e-1280087760
Seth Posted July 26, 2010 Thanks for the FP. The typical response is this: https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=28 Other than that, SAS has probably already seen this post and is changing the defs accordingly. I'll assume you're running the latest def files.
JohnF Posted July 26, 2010 Hi. I ran SAS tonight and got the same exact trojan. Never got it before. System wise, everything seems fine. I assume it is a false positive. I told SAS to delete it. But when i run SAS again,it's still there. Is this really a false positive? I am getting worried. Excuse my ignorance here. I am a newbie. Thanks.
Seth Posted July 28, 2010 It sure looks like a False Positive. If you're running the latest definition files and the item keeps being dtected, please see here: https://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=
