regen70 Posted July 22, 2010 I've recently reinstalled Windows7 32bit and have been trying to update Superantispyware Professional. Despite the fact that I am the only user of the PC and have Administrator status, as soon as I click on Update I get a pop up box saying that 'the update must be done from an account with administrator privileges' (which, of course, I have). Any idea what's going wrong?

Any idea what's going wrong? Try this please: 1. Close SuperAntispyware. - Right click on the SAS icon in the Notification tray and select Exit from the menu to close SAS. 2. Go to START>All Programs>SuperAntispyware and right click on SuperAntiSpyware Professional 3. Select "Run as Administrator" to restart SAS PRO 4. Right click on the SAS icon in the Notification tray and select "Check for Updates" You should be able to obtain the program update now.

Still puzzled as to why this problem arose - it wasn't an issue with my original W7 installation. Thanks again
