What settings do I have to change to get SAS to run while my computer is in sleep mode? I scheduled it to scan at 1 AM this morning and it didn't start until I "woke" up my system by moving the mouse.

Thanks, Jim

Welcome to the SAS forum Jim.

No scanner that I'm aware of can wake the computer on its own to perform a scan.

As you have noted, SAS will initiate the missed scan when the system is out of sleep, hibernation, or standby.

AVG can do it. Even has a setting for it.

For a scheduled scan or update to take place AVG does require that the system be "awake" and not in hibernation or sleep modes... this has always been a requirement even with earlier versions of AVG which can all be set up to shut down the system after the scan completes.

That quote is from a moderator at the official AVG forum.
