Jonny Posted June 19, 2010 I'm finding that SAS Pro is freezing the computer under a normal realtime scan situation. Im running it in conjunction with Zonealarm basic firewall. I thought it may have been a Peerblock conflict but tested everything and always came back to SAS. Have since disabled Kernel Direct and no issues since, at this stage. Is this a known problem and, if so, will the lack of Kernel Direct activation leave me more exposed? Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
siliconman01 Posted June 20, 2010 I believe it is fair to say that the SAS gurus have had, over time, to tweak Kernel Direct File, Kernel Direct Registry and also Direct Disk Access on some computer hardware/software configurations. You should submit a Customer Service Report per the link below and let the SAS gurus examine your system to define and fix the problem in SAS PRO. They will probably run some of their diagnostics on your system to assist them in debugging the problem.
