Nikki Posted June 18, 2010 Hello everyone! I recently discovered SUPERAntiSpyware and have been using it quite a bit. I have had some weird ads on the bottom of every single internet explorer page that I have been trying to get rid of. They are usually video ads or ads that make noise and sometimes they get stuck in the middle of a page blocking text. Also sometimes I can't listen to music on a webpage because the ad will play and there is no way to turn the volume off. Today I noticed that an ad didn't load it said "Ad:DYNAMO" I'm not sure if this means anything. But the ad consists of 2 different videos and sometimes they both play so it gets very annoying. I have been scanning my computer a lot lately trying to get rid of the ads and I feel like this product detected it but it is still in existence. I think I may have accidentally clicked on something on Facebook that caused these ads to appear. I was wondering if anyone could help me get rid of these ads I would be very thankful. Thanks for taking the time to read my post - thanks in advance! I have tried to attach a screen shot. - Nikki
Seth Posted June 18, 2010 Welcome to the SuperAntiSpyware forum Nikki. Be sure that you're using the latest updates from SAS. If you're not, run a complete scan with the latest updates. If the issue persists, you can send a Customer Support Request. That will enable SAS to analyze the infection and make the appropriate changes to remove the infection. This will also benefit all the other SAS users who may encounter that infection. https://www.superantispyware.com/csrcreateticket.html

Nikki Posted June 18, 2010 After I quarantined the spyware it told me that I had to reboot my computer to remove the remaining files. However, when I restart my computer nothing comes up to finish the removal. Also when I open the program again there is no option to get back to the files that were found so I am scanning again but the same thing will probably happen again. Can you please help? Thanks. Thanks, I am currently scanning all files again.
Seth Posted June 18, 2010 When you are requested to reboot for the removal, there is no message that's supposed to appear when Windows starts again. SAS's logs can be found in the programs Preferences-->Statistics/Logs. The quarantined items can be found in "Quarantined Items" on SAS's main screen. Either way, I suggest the support ticket if the infection still remains.

Seth Posted June 19, 2010 Hi Redwolf. There are plenty of members on the SAS forum (including myself), that could walk a poster through s disinfection procedure. The point of the CSR is to allow SAS to diagnose the infection, so that all SAS users can benefit.
