Seth Posted May 24, 2010 Is your system infected? What firewall are you running? Also check to make sure your internet is not using a proxy server: Go into Internet Options>Connections>Lan Settings. If anything is checked off in the Lan Settings window, uncheck it, click OK, then try to update SAS.

Seth Posted May 25, 2010 Do you have any other security softwasre software, and if so, do they update ok? Please check if SAS will update in Safe Mode With Networking. That will help determine if the issue is with SAS, or with other software that's preventing SAS from updating. Note from that mode you'll have to manually open SAS. Also, has the computer ever run Norton? If all else fails, I'd try an uninstall and reinstall.
