siliconman01 Posted May 6, 2010 Try this: 1. Reboot your computer into SAFE MODE. 2. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to folder TEMP at C:\Windows\TEMP and open the folder TEMP 3. Delete all files in the TEMP folder. 4. Reboot your computer back into Normal Mode To get rid of the infect file in System Volume Information on your F drive, you need to turn off System Restore, Reboot, and then turn ON System Restore (F drive) You do not state which Windows Operating System you are running. So here are links showing how to turn off/on System Restore for Win 7, Vista, and XP Windows 7 http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-system-restore-in-windows-vista/ Vista http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-system-restore-in-windows-vista/ Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405 Scan again with SAS to see if the infection is removed.
