virus yirupph.exe

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My XP pc is infected by yirupph.exe

This is the only softwae that knows something about this new virus. So I installed the free version.

The program crashes after a few moments unfortunaly. I started XP in te safe mode, that worked. But I still have yirupph.exe on the computer.

What to do?

Raaf

Follow the instructions below to download the SUPERAntiSpyware Portable Scanner. The scanner features our complete scanning and removal engine and will detect AND remove over 1,000,000 spyware/malware infections. The scanner does NOT install anything on your Start Menu or Program Files and does NOT need to be uninstalled.

The scanner contains the latest definitions so you DO NOT need Internet Access on the infected system to scan.

I followed the instructions, but the virus is still there.

The portable scanner only works proper in the safe mode of XP.

Running it in the normal mode makes my monitor blue after a while.

I wait for more information, the virus is very new.

Hi Raff.

Is SAS showing the infection but not removing it?

Go into Safe Mode With Networking, open SAS, right click on the SAS icon to the left of the time and choose, "Check For Updates".

Run a complete scan and open a support ticket if SAS is still not removing the infection:
