siliconman01 Posted March 27, 2010 Trying to scan my USB stick and have unchecked all but that drive, but any scan choice I make starts with the main C drive. What am I missing? Thanks. Use the Custom Scan option. - Select Perform Custom Scan - Uncheck Memory, Registry, Startup Locations, Cookies (unless you want these scanned on system) - Check Selected Folders - Click on "Select Folders" and select your USB drive. - Click on Next and the scan of your USB drive only should begin. genegold Posted March 27, 2010 Thanks. Do files not in folders get included?
siliconman01 Posted March 28, 2010 If you select the entire drive, then everything on the drive will be scanned. For example, if your USB drive is G:\, select G:\.
genegold Posted March 28, 2010 I'm missing something then. Why did you have a step to Select Folders?
siliconman01 Posted March 28, 2010 In that option, you can select folders or entire drives.
