lwarzy Posted February 9, 2010 There are a few strange .exe files/programs in my C:\Program Files\SAS directory. One has shown up in task manager as well... Should I be worried, or are these supposed to be there? I've been running SAS on 2 machines and I only noticed this today. Files in question: C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\31bc340e-255d-4ea4-8177-698c2618e0d2.exe C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\f90aa0e4-32f6-44d1-8660-b97b43af4ae0.exe <-- This has shown up as running in Task Mgr. C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\337b3beb-75b2-4222-9d34-3d6babc55a98.exe Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Since I never had a response, I just uninstalled SAS, then reinstalled. All gone.

That means you are using RUNSAS to run SUPERAntiSpyware - it creates random names so malware won't block it as easily.
