Upgating problems

I've been using SAS for like ages now and I've never had updating problems in the past. But since I've updated to the 4.9, with every update of definitions it says: "There was an error trying to retrieve definitions. Make sure your firewall is not blocking Superantispyware.exe from accessing the internet". I don't have a firewall and every other application can access the internet so I don't know what the problem is. Can you tell me what a possible solution could be?

If none of these fix you up, I recommend that you first try uninstalling SAS and then re-install the latest version. Use the special uninstall tool to uninstall SAS. It can be downloaded from the link below.

I checked "Automatically detect settings" in IE settings and the problem is solved. I can hardly believe it was as simple as that. Thanks a bunch siliconman01.

Were you using a proxy at one point?
